COMPASS Youth Collaborative is run under the direction of Ms. Elizabeth Gianetta (On-Site Coordinator),  Mr. Wayne Williams (Education/Parent Coordinator) and Ms. Isha Pagan (administrative Assistant).


Mission
COMPASS Youth Collaborative, Inc. inspires and assists youth, families, educators, and neighbors to work together so that communities can reach their fullest potential.
 

Function
COMPASS delivers academic, quality enrichment programming Monday – Thursday as well as recreational activities on Fridays.

Academics - Homework Club allows for students to begin their homework with support from certified teachers as well as receive tutoring from COMPASS group leaders.

Enrichment - the enrichment program fosters creativity and self-definition.  Students are given the opportunity to "shop for" their ideal program from art, theater, computer research, cooking, team building, life skills, yoga, dance, etc.


 Recreation - the recreation program affords opportunities for students to release academic pressures and enjoy 30 to 45 minutes of free play including but not limited to gym, pool, outdoor activities, educational and inspiring films, as well as challenging games.

Fun Fridays - Fun Friday activities afford students the opportunity to engage in social discussions with their peers and build team spirit.  Field trips and free play activities are also a part of Fun Friday.
